Launching "Eternal":
A New Chapter in Tan-Ku Poetry
Friday, June 27, 2025
5:30 p.m.

Join us for the launch of "Eternal," the second book in a unique series of Tan-Ku poetry, a form created by esteemed poets Mariko Kitakubo and Deborah P. Kolodji.
Deborah P. Kolodji, a long-time leader of the SoCal Haiku Study Group, collaborated with Mariko Kitakubo to develop this innovative combination of Tanka and Haiku. "Eternal" follows their first successful collaboration, "Distance," published by Shabda Press.

Coming from Japan, Mariko Kitakubo will be bringing 100 copies of this beautiful new collection.
While selling copies isn't the primary goal, the most important aim is to bring this meaningful work into the world and share it with you all.
