Visitor Guidelines
The teahouse is closed except for tea ceremonies and special events
Photography
* Snapshots may be taken during your visit but portrait and posed photography--whether with cameras or phones--is not permitted
* Tri-pods are not allowed. No professional photography without a photo permit
* Photography, sitting or standing, on the porch of the teahouse is not permitted
* To purchase a 2-hour photo permit during a time when we are not open to the public , please email your request to info@japanesegardenpasadena.com
Picnics are welcome but please take the trash out with you
Stepping off the paths and into garden beds or onto boulders next to the ponds is strictly prohibited
Please do not disrupt the peacefulness many visitors are seeking: no talking on the phone, music or loud celebrations
Sorry, no pets
We recommend you bring water and insect repellent.
Cleaning takes place before the garden opens but not during open hours
